Jo Carmen Patterson, 97, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at her daughter's home in Burleson.
Family only private graveside service: Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, TX.
Carmen was born on April 3, 1923 in Zavalla, Texas to Porter and Zethal (Gibson) Kinard. She married Alvon Earl (Pat) Patterson on January 1, 1949 in Midland, Texas. They were happily married for 47 years. Carmen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat; sister, Vernell Robinette; brother-in-law, Carl Robinette and granddaughter, Angela Rees.
Survivors: Daughter, Patricia Rees of Burleson, Texas; son, Tim Patterson and wife, Lanette of Dripping Springs, Texas; granddaughters, Kimberly Williams and husband, Steve, Shannon Sosa and husband, Daniel, Vanessa Patterson, Vivien Tooke; great-granddaughters, Olive Sosa and Ivy Sosa.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
