Joan Saverance Bean wife of Harley ‘Red’ Bean, passed away in Grapevine, Texas on January 5, 2020. Joan was born July 11, 1931 in Dallas County to William and LaVoe Saverance.

Joan spent her career at LTV as a Configuration Manager of the Missiles and Space Division. She was an avid outdoors woman. Her favorite outdoor sports were hunting, fishing, water skiing, and boating. She loved to travel and explore. Her favorite places to visit were Canada and South Texas. She was proud to be a native Texan and loved all things Texas. She spent much of her time with Red in their motorhome.

She is survived by daughter Sherill Searcy and husband Waldo, son Stephen Powell and wife Sandra, daughter Debra Millage, grandchildren Sherry Atwell and husband Mark, Cortney Bibby and husband Berry, and Bennett Powell, great grandchildren Whitney, Jordan, Xander, Emma, Alexis, and Dylan.

Services for Joan will be held at Lucas Funeral Home 700 W. Wall Street, Grapevine, on Wednesday, January 15th at 1:00 pm.
