BEDFORD -- Joan M. Golden entered into rest Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. Joan was an active church member, a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and loving wife, mom and Nana.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3713 Harwood Road, Bedford. Interment: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst.

Memorials: Knights of Columbus #7641 Charity Funds, 1319 Brown Trail, Bedford, Texas 76022.

Survivors: Her husband of 59 years, Lon T. Golden; daughter, Linda and husband, John Swanger; son, Tommy and wife, Sue Golden; grandchildren, Joni and husband, Adam Hilperts, Amber, Melissa and John Paul Swanger, Charlie and wife, Vickie Webster, T.J. and wife, Molly Webster, T.J. Golden, Brandon Harrison and Marine Corps Cpl. Cody Golden and wife, Amber; five great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Haskell B. and wife, Thelma, and Gerald and wife, Carroll Golden; sisters-in-law, Virginia Williams and Maryetta Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
