Joan H. Smeraldi

Joan H. Smeraldi, age 83, died peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Joan is survived by her three daughters, Jane Smeraldi, Ann Kruger, and Carol Gindt. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph G. Smeraldi and sons Paul and Joseph Smeraldi. She was a devoted sister to Helen (Sr. Joan Marie) Harks and Margaret (Peggy) Wade both who preceded her in death, and a loving grandmother to Sarah and Amy Kruger, Brandon, Ethan and Dylan Gindt, and Cole and Garrett Smeraldi. She was a dearest aunt and great aunt. Joan was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where she met Joe and where they raised their family before relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. Joan will be remembered by her family and friends through her bright smile, her gracious and loving personality and being a fantastic cook. Joan started many new friendships in her last years of life, and we thank them all.
