Joan White

Joan Jacqueline White went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 25, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Celebration of life: 1pm, Monday April 1 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 137 E. Hill St. Keller, TX.  Interment: Her ashes will be inurned in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later time. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., Seventh Floor, New York, N.Y. 10001., or the Alzheimer's Association, North Central Texas Chapter, 2630 West Freeway, Suite 100, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. The twin daughter of Harold and Esther Rapp, Joan was born in April 1928 in Chicago, Ill. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and faithful friend, Joan will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to give special thanks for the loving care of her caregivers in the final years, Manor Care Nursing Home, North Richland Hills, and Heartland Hospice Care. Joan was preceded in death by her father, Harold; mother, Esther; and twin brother, Vernon Rapp. Survivors: Her loving husband of 60 years, Donald; children, Diane and husband, Tom Witosky, and Mark and wife, Judy; grandchildren, Joshua and wife, Ashley, Benjamin and wife, Jessica, Adam Witosky, and Rachael and husband, Kevin Moravek; and great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Makayla, Logan and Lillian.
