JoAnn Stover passed away on June, 7th 2021 at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend and her loss is felt deeply by those who knew her.
Born to William and Mary Evans in Niagara Falls, New York, JoAnn moved to Texas after graduating college where she began work as an ICU nurse at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. Her medical knowledge led her to a career as a national training director and medical liaison for Park Davis.
JoAnn was an avid reader, sharing her love of books with her children and her grandchildren. Sharp witted and warm, she was the lynchpin of her family. The holidays were never complete without her handmade sweets. There were often helpers learning beside her in the kitchen, calling her mom or Nana J, and they will carry on her traditions. She traveled often with her loving husband and enjoyed exploring new places.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 25 years, Randy, their three children, Chris, Darren, and Nicole, three grandchildren, and six siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Cancer Association at:
