Joanne Robinson

October 16, 1933 — April 6, 2022

JoAnne Bailey Canfield Robinson was born October 16, 1933 and took the hand of Jesus on April 6, 2022, receiving the promise of a new life with Him.

Born in Dover Ohio, to Edna Ruth (Sickles) and John Nathan Bailey, she was the 4th of seven children.
She was a lifelong member of The Church of the Nazarene.

JoAnne graduated from New Philadelphia High School where she participated in the marching band playing saxophone.

Her career as a bookkeeper in the defense industry was one she loved and retired from in 1999.

A founding member of Euless Church Of the Nazarene, she had served on the church board, the choir, children’s ministries, as a teacher, Vacation Bible School Director, Women’s Ministries Director, and the list goes on.

She also served the community through volunteer work with Mission 820, 6 stones, and Women of Worth , among others.
Serving Jesus and people was her life.

No stranger to personal loss, JoAnne was predeceased by her loving husband Jim, two of her children Cynthia Joanne Stelter and Robert Dean Canfield and her Daughter in Law, Theresa Canfield. She had also lost two of her grandchildren Jarrod Keith Phillips and Shawn Matthew Phillips, as well as, her siblings Bonnie Youngen, Betty Haugh, Jack Bailey, and Dale Bailey.

She is survived by her children
Jeff and wife Lora Canfield,
Greg and wife Grace Canfield, Susan and husband Ronnie Phillips, Jack Canfield,
and Mike and wife, Ronda Canfield.

Her grandchildren,
Heidi Escalante, Autumn Lozano, Jade Galt, Noah Canfield, Stacy Vail, Jerry Canfield, Josh Canfield, Michelle Whitley, Robin Deel, Jonie Booher, Rosee Qualls, Carlos Canfield, Marti Destree, Darla Pfister, Jake Canfield, Jenny Fifield and Jessi Killion.

Her siblings Linda and husband Denny Hockenberry and Paul and wife Emily Bailey, and sister in law Betty Wahlquist also mourn her passing.

She is also survived by one great-great grandchild, and many great grandchildren, and extended family members and friends who mourn with us, as does her dog, Callie.

Family visitation will be at Euless First Church Of the Nazarene Sunday, April 10, 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
Funeral service is at the church on Monday at 11 AM.
