Jodie Carlos Dobbins, 80, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 in North Richland Hills, TX.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local organ and donor bank.
Jodie was born in Electra, TX on January 30, 1937 to Edward J. and Nellie Markrum Dobbins. He served his country in the US Army and was a retired manager of the Winn Dixie Grocery Store chain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Dobbins; brother, Melvin Dobbins; and sisters, Ruth Catron & Dorothy Brown.
Survivors: son, David Dobbins and wife, Hanh; daughter, Vicki Culp; grandchildren, Steven Hatfield, April Beck, Christopher Dobbins, Jason Dobbins & Tiffany Dobbins; great-grandchildren, Tori, Madison, & Serenity; and sister, Reba Wylie and husband Bob.
