Jody Marie Richards

Jody Marie Richards, 52 of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away April 6, 2022, at Baylor & White Hospital in Dallas Texas.

Jody worked at Motorola for many years where she transferred to Texas. She loved to ride her motorcycle and go on adventures with her friends. She was loved by many and helped out so many people. She was the glue that held her group together. She had the heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She went above and beyond when it came to holidays as well, she opened her home to whomever didn't have a place to go. She called it her "Misfits Thanksgiving."

The Richards' Family would like to give a special thanks to Brad Lowery and Charlene Lingo for all that they've done. Not sure what we would have done without them. Also, a shout out to her friends who have been there for her through all this.

Jody is survived by her children, Jazmine Martinez and Kayla Richards of Rockford Illinois; grandchildren, Andres Martinez, Adian Martinez, Amiliane Verlarde, Adriel Rivera, Aliana Locascio and Antonio Locascio; siblings, Shane Baugh and his wife Destin and Joel Richards Jr. and his wife Jessica; uncles, Ike, Allen and Charles Boaz, Alabama and aunts, Imadell Lelacqua and Bonnie Richards of Albertville, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her mother Diane Wilhelm and father Joel Richards Sr.

Family will receive friends for a visitation from 5 pm - 8 pm, Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.
