Joe Alton Mcfadin

Joe Alton McFadin, 74, passed away on February 7th, 2024. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 12, 1950 to John Robert and Frances Josephine McFadin. Joe was a devoted husband to his wife of 50 years, incredible father, and beloved PJ (Papa Joe) to his seven grands.

He worked in human resources for the majority of his professional career and had a unique way of supporting and encouraging every person he ever met. He enjoyed spending time at their family lakehouse, dogs of all types (especially his Princess Millie), volunteering at his church, and soaking up every moment possible with his family. To know and to love Joe was a true honor. He was a man of integrity, generosity, kindness, and pure love. He will be incredibly missed.

Joe is survived by his wife Rosemary and their three children, Scott (Kim) McFadin, Mark (Marisa) McFadin, and Lori (Dave) Strom. He had seven grandchildren: Hayley, Hunter, Emmy, Piper, Jack, Sydney and Savy.

The service will be held at Smithfield Methodist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas on Monday, February 12. Viewing will take place in the Sanctuary from 10:00 - 11:00 with the service following at 11:00 am. Interment: Smithfield Cemetery.
