Joe Steele

Joe Steele was born in the Northeast Texas Community of Valley Creek, near Leonard, Texas, in 1937. He was the son of Bernice and Ruth Steele. He had two brothers, Dale Steele (deceased) and Billy Steele. Billy resides with his wife, Linda in Hurst, Texas.
Joe moved to Ft. Worth, Texas after graduating from High School in Leonard, Texas. He continued his education at TCJC and TCU in Tarrant County. He met and married Helen Fitch in 1959. They met on a blind date. The couple had two children, Sandra Steele Oravetz and Michael Joe (Joey) Steele. They resided in Colleyville, Texas.
Joe worked as inventory and production manger for Lennox Industries in Ft. Worth for 37 years. He then worked for American Airlines. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Helen Steele, his father and mother, Bernice and Ruth Steele, and oldest brother Dale Steele.
