Joe Ellis Tyson Jr., 77, passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Entombment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Joe was a family physician and practiced for 30 years at Family Healthcare and Associates in Hurst. He spent over 30 years learning to love, to be loved and to share that love with his family and friends. He mirrored the image of love.
Survivors: His loving wife, Linda; children, Tony Gowan and fiancee, Nikki Hilley, Catherine Foster and husband, Jesse, Laura Harvey and husband, Shaun, Tracy Tatum and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Bryce Foster, Jonathon Bagwell, Conrad Foster, Joshua Harvey, William Harvey and Gracie Tatum; and sister, Janet Cram and husband, Jack.
