Johnny Bowers, 84 years of Newark, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
Johnny was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 16, 1938 to Roy Lee and Rose Marie Bowers.
He married Virginia Evans on August 14, 1959 in Newark, Texas
He worked at Acme Brick, Texas Precast, and Thermaform. Johnny was an avid fisherman and hunter. Back in the day he loved coaching Little League baseball. Most of all he loved going places and being with his family.
Johnny is preceded in death by his infant son John Jr., parents, and siblings Nora Warren and husband Guy Sr., Eleanor, Maddie Marie, Guy Jr. and infants Dora, Ruby, and Delbert.
Survivors include his wife Virginia of 63 years, daughter Theresa Reynolds and husband Billy of Joshua, Texas, Son Ricky Bowers of Newark, Texas, brother Ronnie Warren and wife Charlotte of Fort Worth, Texas, and Brother Bill Warren of Cleburne, Texas. Sister-in-law Jeanne Evans of Rhome, Texas Bonus daughter Vickie Harris of Newark, Texas, Bonus sons David and Dewayne Evans of Bridgeport, Texas.
Bonus grand-children Pamela Harris of Newark, Texas, Rachel Graves and husband Richard of Marshall, Texas, and Colby Harris of Newark, Texas
Bonus great-children Ryleigh and Ranger Graves.
Special niece and nephew Debra Evans Parker of Glen Rose, Texas and Jimmy Evans of Granbury, Texas, Bryan Russell of Venus, Texas, and Glen Roye and wife Rose of Henrietta, Texas and other numerous nieces, nephews, and friends
