John Larry English

In all honesty, being asked to honor the life of the most amazing man and partner in crime in a few words is absurd. John, Juan, Juanito, Juan Spanish, Bub, Brother, Son, Pop, Dad, and Babe was just a few of the names used by those that loved him.

John Larry English was born August 4, 1973, to John and Marilyn English. He grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas where he met and made lasting friendships that are still alive today.

John met the love of his life in 1991 while working at Six Flags over Texas. They began dating in 1993 and decided she was his forever, and they were married March 1999. If you knew John, you knew his love for her was unmatched. In 2003, they welcomed the third member of their family, Taylor Serina. John and Gena enjoyed almost 30 years together and almost 20 years of being Taylor’s dad.

John is survived by his wife, Regena (Gena); his daughter, Taylor; Mother Marilyn Jimmerson; sister and brother-in-law, Stacy and Jeff Grindstaff, Mother and father-in-law Brenda and Bill Richardson, Sister/Brother-in-law Amy and Jay Hill, many nieces and nephews and countless friends that are family.

He was preceded in passing by his friend and brother-in-law Troy Richardson. There is no doubt they are tearing it up now.
