John Homer Goldston

John Homer Goldston, 71, of Hurst, TX, passed away on August 12, 2018 in Hurst.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 on August 15 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX 76053

John Homer Goldston was born in Alanreed, Texas to Laverne and Lucy Goldston on April 16, 1947. He graduated from McLean High School in 1965. He married Ann Mays on November 12, 1967 in Matamoros, Mexico. He graduated from HC Lewis Technical College in Oklahoma City. He worked as an Instrument Technician at General Dynamics for four years. He worked at Panhandle Processing for 19 years and He worked at Indeco Sales for 23 years. He retired from Indeco Sales in 2012. Homer was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed blacksmithing, spending time at his ranch and traveling with his wife.

John Homer Goldston was preceded in death by his parents, Laverne & Lucy Goldston and his brother Bill Goldston & Jerry Goldston.

Homer was survived by his wife, Ann Goldston, his son Kevin and wife, Kelly of Belton, his son Wayne, of San Antonio, Sister, Sharon Wilson of Dalhart, brothers, Fred Goldston of Lubbock and Jim Goldston of Memphis, Granddaughter’s, Madison Goldston and Paige Goldston, Grandson’s, Andrew Goldston, Holden Goldston, and Reid Goldston.
