John Kenneth Harding, 80, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 3, 2020 at his
home in Burleson. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm, Monday, October 5, 2020 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave. in Burleson. Burial will be at the DFW National Cemetery.
John was born February 3, 1940 in Queens, NY to Rawling C. and Mildred (Reid) Harding. He grew up in Queens, NY. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and received many awards during his years of service. He was proud to be a Veteran and to serve his country, and wore his hat proudly. John married Diana in 1958 in Queens, NY. They were happily married for 58 years. He will be joining Diana once again for their eternity together.
John is survived by his son Kenneth; daughters, Donna Johnson and husband, Chad of Robertsdale, AL and Deborah Harding of Burleson; brother, Ronald Harding and wife, Belinda of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Austin, Cody; and great-grandchildren, Hudson and Everleigh.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the hospice caregivers that took excellent care of him, and to the friends and family who meant so much to him.
