John Edward Harper Sr.

John E. Harper Sr. passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at the age of 69.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Keller United Methodist Church. Burial service to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Okla. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 East Hill St., Keller 76248.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to Keller United Methodist Church Building Fund or UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).
John married Mary Jane Humphries on Oct. 30, 1964. They were blessed with three children: John E. Harper Jr. - wife, Neala; James Benten Harper - wife, Lisa; Anne Norwood - husband, Scott; and two grandsons, Phillip John and Thomas Alvin.
