John Nicholas Knapp

John Nicholas Knapp, of Fort Worth Texas, passed away on December 21, 2018. He will always be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He was born on May 24, 1938 in Sharon Pennsylvania to Nathalia and Gilbert Knapp. John loved life – his family and friends, good food, sports, and everyday joys brought a smile to his face and a laugh from the heart. John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean Knapp, of Fort Worth Texas; his children Janette Knapp, John Knapp, Jay Knapp, and Kelly Johnson; six grandsons; his sisters Lorraine Henning and Joan Haines; his brother Gilbert Knapp; his nieces, nephews, friends and former colleagues. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Barbara Knapp; his brother Robert Knapp; his nephew Billy Coxson; and his daughter Terri Lyn Knapp. The memorial service will be held at 11:00am CST on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church, 1301 South Main Street, Keller Texas 76248.
