John Olin Mcfadin

John Olin McFadin, 73, passed away on January 6th, 2024, just 6 days shy of his 74th birthday. John was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 12, 1950 to John R. and Frances Josephine McFadin.

He grew up in Smithfield, Texas. John was passionate about his family, his church, and had a deep love for dogs. He had an incredible heart and love for others and was completely devoted to his identical twin brother, Joe McFadin. He will be greatly missed as a dear brother, loving uncle, and loyal friend.

John is survived by his twin brother Joe, and his wife Rosemary. Their three children, Scott (Kim) McFadin, Mark (Marisa) McFadin, and Lori (Dave) Strom. He had seven nieces and nephews: Hayley, Hunter, Emmy, Piper, Jack, Sydney and Savy.

The service will be held at Smithfield Methodist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas on Thursday, January 11th. Viewing will take place in the Sanctuary from 10:00-11:00 with the service following at 11:00 am.
