John Christopher Parshall

John Christopher Parshall, age 47, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. He was born on April 22, 1969 in Irving, Texas. He attended MacArthur High School and graduated in 1987. Following high school, he attended the University of North Texas and graduated with an accounting degree and a finance degree. He was an entrepreneur at heart and built several businesses over the years. He enjoyed watching, playing and coaching sports. From baseball and football in high school to basketball and ju jitsu during his adult years, he has always been an athlete. But, as much as he loved sports, spending time with his children and family was what he loved most. He was a loving, caring, and dedicated father who will be greatly missed.

Chris is survived by his wife, Erin; 2 daughters, Savannah and Cassidy; 2 sons, William and John; his mother, Donna Akers; 2 brothers, Kevin Parshall and Michael Whitt; and his sister, Sarah Whitt. He was predeceased by his father, John Thomas Parshall.

A funeral service will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall Street, Grapevine, Texas on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin prior to the funeral at 9 a.m. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends. Following the funeral service, the burial will be at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, Texas.
