TROPHY CLUB -- John Brett Pechuls, 74, passed away peacefully from lung cancer, surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
Funeral Mass: 2 p.m. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 Wildwood Lane, Grapevine. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 2, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine, with the Holy Rosary at 6.
Memorials: St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
John Brett, the son of Brig. Gen. John Allison Pechuls and Mary Jane Pierce Pechuls, was born May 27, 1940, in San Francisco. He was an active member of St. Francis for 30 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from a career in computer engineering and sales.
Survivors: Wife, Anne; daughters, Mary Frances Jarzynka and husband, David, and Suzanne Klasen and husband, Steve; grandchildren, David Jarzynka Jr., Holly Jarzynka, Hailey Jarzynka, Sean Klasen and Savannah Klasen; brother, Charles B. Pechuls and wife, Lyn; and sister, Mary Jane Cornell and husband, Russ.
