John Richard Prince. was born in Toronto, Canada, on June 1st, 1970 and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He met his wife while studying at SFA. They later moved back to Fort Worth together, where he raised two children and lived until his passing on May 19th 2023 due to stage IV colon cancer.
John was a man who valued his family above all else. He worked in management as software engineers and was highly sought after throughout his career. He was an avid boxing and football fan, loved music, and enjoyed racing RC cars. In fact, his passion for RC cars led him to create one of the all-time top-subscribed YouTube channels for it's time: Nitro RC Nerds. Alongside his son, John would teach people about RC cars and make videos to share with his fellow enthusiasts.
John was also an excellent writer. He volunteered as a flag football coach for his son's team for many years and went above and beyond by writing pamphlets after every game for the players to take home, giving each child on the team personalized feedback. He was a devout Catholic and a firm believer in the golden rule, which he instilled in his children.
Music was also an important part of John's life. He learned to play the piano as a child and later used his skills to play synthesizers, eventually creating thousands of beats that he shared on his sound cloud/YouTube channel freebeats4all.
Despite his many accomplishments, John was most proud of starting and supporting his family. He was the sole provider and always made time for his wife and kids, showing them that doing the right thing was always the most important thing.
John was deeply devoted to his wife, Dipa and her passing 3 years before his own left a profound void in his life. He often spoke of his love for her and his miss for her presence. While we mourn John's passing we take comfort knowing they are reunited once again and are at peace together.
