John Green Taylor

John Green Taylor passed away on August 23, 2021 at home in Saginaw, Texas.

Funeral: A Liturgy of the Word Service was held on August 27, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. Click here to watch the RECORDED SERVICE.

Memorial Service: 9:00 am, Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church (1333 58th St., Sacramento, CA 95819).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber's Foundation

John was born on May 20, 1936 to Gregoria and Bedford Lee Taylor in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from the San Antonio Vocational High School. John proudly served his country in the United States Army. He also served as the President of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. John will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; and sister, Bettie Lee Taylor.

Survivors: Loving wife, Pat Taylor; children, John P. Taylor, Pamela Medeiros (Dan), Jill Ben Shabbat (Itzhak), Matthew Taylor (Jamee), Amy Havansek (Jason); 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
