NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- John William Truelove Jr. passed away from this life Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at 7:43 p.m. in Dallas.
Memorial service: John's memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, 76053, 817-284-7271, with Pastor Ron Fox of Corner Stone Baptist Church of Decatur officiating.
John was 59 years old. He was born Nov. 14, 1956, in Fort Worth to John William Truelove Sr. and Mari Everine O'Dowd Truelove. John loved life and lived it to the fullest. He never met a stranger and would do whatever he could to make someone smile. His favorite thing to do was to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family and friends. He spent over 25 years with the love of his life, his wife, Carol Truelove. He had many kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews who lit up his life with smiles and laughter. His siblings were very dear to him and he spent time with them often. John was a truck driver for CF and ABF for over 32 years. His coworkers were more like family to him and he spent time with them often. He took many motorcycle trips with his brother-in-law, Terry, and his buddies from work all over the country.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Truelove Sr. and Mari Everine O'Dowd Truelove; one brother, Jimmy Parker Truelove; and one granddaughter, Ariana.
Survivors: John leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carol Truelove of the home; sons, Jason William Truelove and wife, Ginselle, and their daughter, Jessica, of Hawaii, Joe Alan Truelove and wife, Erica, and their son, Jonah, of Waldron; daughter, Brittany Truelove Webber and husband, Steven, and their sons, Landon and Chance; stepdaughter, Beth Wilson and son, Jacob Young ,whom he raised since birth and daughter, Ceiara Riggins; stepson, Jeremy Wilson and son, Jude; stepson, J.R. McCord. He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Olive and husband, Mike, and their children; sister, Beverly Purdy and husband, Terry, and their children; and many friends and family members.
