John Mack Wallace went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 surrounded by family.
Funeral: 11:00 am, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Visitation: 6-8pm, Friday, March 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville.
John was born on June 18, 1936 in Gorman, Texas to parents John and Bertie Wallace. He grew up in DeLeon. John was an avid woodworker and master carpenter. He could build almost anything. John enjoyed working on antique tractors, restoring them from rust to nearly brand new. He also liked to go to antique tractor shows. John was an amazing husband, father, Papa, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
John is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Wallace, of 40 years and his baby sister, Wilda Wallace.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ann Wallace of 24 years; daughters, Becky Bickel and husband, Duane, LaJuan Martindale, and Marla Hoover and husband Truitt; sons, David Mcdonald, Marty McDonald, and Kevin McDonald and wife Jamey; grandchildren; Selane Bollinger, Braden Bickel, Ryan McDonald, Drew McDonald , Chase McDonald, Cody McDonald, Alicia McDonald, Blake Mills, Dillon Mills, Mallory Rivera, Alex Waits, Bailey McDonald and Claire McDonald; 19 great grandchildren; sisters, Elwanda Finstad ,Edna Britton and husband JB, Glenda Jordan; and many other extended family and friends.
