Johnnie Ruth Alexander, 74, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on May 19, 2018.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Marystown Cemetery in Burleson. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home.
Johnnie Ruth was a bright light in our world with a kind word for everyone. Johnnie Ruth had many interests: square dancing, bowling, cooking, puzzles, reading a good mystery and operas. Her most beloved interests were Family, Heavenly Father and her church family at United Methodist in Littleton, Colorado.
She graduated from Polytechnic Highschool in Fort Worth and worked as a key punch operator many years and as an administrative assistant many years as well. Johnnie Ruth was a strong independent single woman. She was preceded in passing by her parents, John Lemuel and Opel Marie Hughes; brothers, Eddie, Jimmie and Roy Hughes.
Survivors: daughter, Brenda Wilson and husband Todd; son, Travis Hendrix and wife Lyssa; brother, Gene Hughes and wife Karen and family; sister-in-law Melba Atkinson and family; grandchildren, Robert, Victor, Nikole, Kyle, Jennifer, Donnie; great-grandchildren, Luke, Gracye, Tajenae and Dezmand.
