HURST -- Johnnie Clyde Wallace, 87, passed away peacefully to meet his Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2016.
Graveside service: Johnnie will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, 76053.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at St. Philip Presbyterian Church, 745 W. Pipeline Road, Hurst, 76053. The Rev. Dr. Greg Garvis will officiate.
Johnnie was born on Feb. 13, 1929. He was married to Joy Hazzard Wallace, the love of his life, for 68 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He was an inspiration to all who met him. He was director of the JATC for many years, manager of Electrical Contractors, a Master Mason and a Shriner in the Moslah Mounties and Tarrant County Sheriff's Posse.
Survivors: His loving wife, Joy; son, Allen Wallace and wife, Leia; sister-in-law, Mary Dick; grandchildren, Bobby and wife, Codie, Steven and Richard Wallace; great-grandson, Keith Wallace; and numerous nieces and nephews.
