Jonathan George Pankrez

Jonathan George Pankrez, 49, lost his year-long battle with cancer on August 22, 2022. The world has lost an amazing man, but heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

Jonathan was born on July 11, 1973 in Bristol, Pennsylvania and relocated to Texas when he was 18-years old. After accepting a job in Boca Raton, Florida, he spent the last year of his life in Del Ray Beach, Florida.

Jonathan’s charismatic personality and great sense of humor brought smiles and laughter to everyone who knew him. In his 49 years, Jonathan impacted countless lives through his generous and giving nature. He was a man who would do anything he could to help others in need.

Jonathan is survived by his wife, Audra, his six sons; Joel Pankrez, Shane Pankrez, Evan Pankrez, Ryan Bachstein, Kenny Bachstein, and John Hardisty, his mother, Shirley Goodwin, his six siblings; Matthew Pankrez, Robert Goodwin, Catherine Ybarra, Theresa Goodwin, Vincent Goodwin, and Patricia Waite, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Dean Goodwin, Jr. and brother, Mark Goodwin.

The family will have a viewing/visitation on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:00am beginning at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas and concluding at Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas.

The family will be hosting a reception to celebrate Jonathan’s life immediately following the service on Saturday at 421 Sandy Creek Drive Fort Worth, Texas 76131.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Jonathan’s GoFundMe account to assist with the cost of final expenses.
