Jorge Avalos

Jorge Avalos, age 58, born January 3, 1963 in El Paso Texas and passed away September 8, 2021 in Grapevine Texas.

Jorge proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jorge and Melissa Salcido have been together 30 years and married for 2 years on September 29, 2018. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family when he wasn’t working.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Avalos; brother, Roy Avalos; sister, Isabel Mann and granddaughter, Victoria Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Salcido Avalos; children, Joshua, Mercedes, Clarissa, Jorge Jr., Anthony, Albert and Jessica; 19 grandchildren; brother, Joe Avalos; sisters, Graciela Cerecerez, Christina Bondzio and Janie Corral; father-in-law, Richard Salcido; mother-in-law, Jessie Salcido; sister-in-law, Ceci Rodriguez and husband Max Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Monica Salcido and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248. Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Chapel.
