Baby Joseph is survived by his loving parents Jace and Aimee Barrilleaux Duet, and his sisters, Olivia and Victoria. He is also survived by his grandparents Jonathan and Theresa Orgeron Duet of Emory, Texas formerly of Larose, Louisiana and Kent and Theresa Clement Barrilleaux of Thibodaux, Louisiana; Aunt Jennifer (Brook) Griffin of The Colony, Texas, Uncle Drew Barrilleaux of Bayou Vista, Louisiana, as well as a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Joseph was a joy to be around, and he easily lit up a room with his infectiously cheerful personality. He went through open heart surgery at 3 months old and was diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan Anemia at 9 months. We will dearly miss his laugh, his joy of everything life offered, and his strength to overcome the many obstacles he faced. He was so little, yet in his short life, he touched so many hearts.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Amazing Little Hearts in memory of Joseph Adam Duet, 1314 W McDermott, Suite 106 #818 in Allen, Texas 75034.
