Joseph Peter Dulemba went to be with the Lord on the morning of June 3, 2016 with his daughter Denise by his side after blessing this world for 85 years. He was born on January 15, 1931 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Blaise & Stella Dulemba. When he was 17, he joined the US Army and later transferred to the US Air Force from which he retired as a Master Sergeant after 24 years of service. Joe lived independently for 30 years in Florida enjoying fishing, carpentry, riding his bicycle (even after turning 80), and going to lunch with close friends. He was a strong independent man that only came back to Fort Worth after getting sick so that he could be cared for by his daughter Denise. Joe was a humble and extremely generous man who always went out of his way to help those that he loved. Like many of his generation, Joe’s strong never quit attitude was an inspiration to all that knew him and was passed on to his children and grandchildren.
Joe is survived by three children, his loving daughter Denise Hunt, her husband Jim and grandson Joseph Maynard; daughter Patricia Safian and grandchildren Anthony & Hillary; and his son Joey Dulemba and wife Laura and granddaughter Andrea. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial will follow in the Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
