Joseph Herridge

Joseph Ronald "Joey" Herridge, 51, of North Richland Hills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Joey had a warm and caring spirit filled with endless positivity, love, and joy. His smile lit up every room he walked into, and his beaming personality left a mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him. Joey left everyone he met feeling lifted, inspired, and accepted. He lived his life joyfully and to the fullest and will live on through countless memories in the hearts of those who love him.

Joey was a devoted husband to Catherine Herridge and a loving father to his daughter, Gabby Herridge. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ron (Audrey) Herridge and Joseph (Rose) Weimerskirch and his great uncle and aunt Lewis (Shirley) Wood. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Madeline Herridge, his brother Jason Herridge and sister Laura (PJ) Shortt, his nieces Jennah Herridge and Parker Shortt and nephew Nico Shortt. His presence in the lives of his family and friends will be deeply missed.

A Lighting the Way Ceremony will be held at Marina Park on Lake Worth Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 21st at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, preceded by a Rosary at 10:00. A “Lake Day” Celebration of Life will follow at 4228 Lakewood Drive, Fort Worth, TX, 76135.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Be Good Foundation and the Dallas Off-road Bicycle Association, organizations supporting causes close to Joey’s heart.
