Joseph Dewayne "Sug/Okie" Maynard

FERRIS Texas-- Joseph Dewayne "Sug" Maynard, 74, of Ferris, Texas,
passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, in Ennis, Texas, after a long battle with Alzheimers.
Visitation will take place today , Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Additional Visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday,
August 15, 2016, at Brumley Mill Chapel in McAlester.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Christian Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg County with his nephew, Tim Maynard, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas.
Sug was born to William Nealie and Estelle Elois
Maynard on October 11, 1941, in Flat Top.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Bob, Bud, James and Billy.
Survivors include a son, Gerald and Toni Maynard, of
Euless, Texas; daughter, Shelia and Mike Brown, of Euless, Texas; partner, Diane O'Nale, of Ferris, Texas; grandchild, Chase Corley, of Euless, Texas; sisters,
Beulah Stacks, and Betty and Jim Shropshire, all of McAlester; sisters-in-law, Wynema Maynard, of Conroe, Texas, and Barbara Mize, Kansas, Oklahoma, and
numerous nieces and nephews.
