Joseph Stanley Polanski, of Keller, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Keller, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on Thursday, December 29, 1927 in Harvey, Illinois to Joseph and Eleanor Polanski. Joseph attended Thornton High School in Illinois, and after graduating he went to school to become a radar technician for the FAA. Joseph and Frances married on Saturday, November 21, 1959 and they were married for 63 ½ years. Joseph served in the Army during the Korean war and was stationed in Japan. Joseph loved his family and most importantly his faith. Joseph grew up in Illinois and lived in California, Arizona and Texas. He still has friends and memories in all the places he lived. Joseph enjoyed playing the guitar, loved country music and loved traveling all over.
Joseph is survived by his wife Frances Polanski of 63 ½ years; children, Gerilyn Polanski (Fred), Lisa (Chris) Poulan, Joe (Robyn), Ron Polanski; grandchildren, Alexa, Joseph, Christopher (Abbey), Meghan.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Eddie, Wally, Matt, Rose, and his twin brother Stanley and his parents.
