"Joshua Mota was a young man of integrity. A man of still-growing honor and nobility. A fellow of seriousness and smiles and laughter, learning his way forward in a life which would return him to his Heavenly Parents. Here he was blessed with goodly parents and a family which loved and cared for him so very much. They are bereaved for a short time as they love and long for his presence once more. Then they will join him, not in eternal rest, but in eternal peace, love, and joy. Progressing together in an active happiness and glory forever! The depths of the heart are found in the heights of the soul and that is where Joshua lives and learns and awaits his beloved family even now.
You see, Joshua is a child of God. "
Joshua was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of the Gospel and of Jesus Christ. He committed his life to doing what was right. One of his favorite songs was Choose the Right. Joshua was always spiritual--always the first one ready for church every Sunday. He also attended seminary every morning and studied the scriptures everyday. He ALWAYS believed in the gospel and it showed through his actions and kindness to others. Joshua loved math, chess, and playing the trombone. He also loved spending time and playing with his siblings. He had a special bond with each of them. We are blessed with many wonderful moments and memories with Joshua. I would say his most defining characteristic that set him apart was his sense of humor. He always made us laugh. We couldn't even get through scripture study without laughing like 50 times. He just ALWAYS made us laugh. We know he brought joy to many others as well. If anyone wants to read more about him, we will be posting stories and memories on
