Josie Lee Brooks, 89 was born March 1, 1929 in Strawn, TX to Willie Ford and Annie Lee Edwards. She took flight to her Heavenly home on Sunday, September 2, 2018.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Virginia "Cookie" Spears, Willie Mae "Molly" Ford, Robert "Shotgun" Ford, Kenneth "Chubby" Brooks Sr., Billy Daryl "Fiddie" Brooks, Vanessa "Nell" Brooks, Timmy "Mule" Brooks, David "Rookie" Brooks, Dennis "Moe" Brooks and Vonda Kay "Connie" Edmon; brothers, Benjamin "Uncle BF" Ford and Howard "Uncle Howard" Ford; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Josie was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Brooks Sr.; children, Charlie "Tut" Brooks, Albert "Baby Ray" Ford, Anita "Nita" Ford, Sharon "Judy" Pierce, Valicia "Bugga" Brooks; 13 siblings.
