Joy W. Wallace

Joy Wynell (Hazzard) Wallace was born on July 23, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022 at the age of 95 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin Hazzard, Sr. and Evelyn Eloise (King) Hazzard; her husband of over 50 years, Johnnie Clyde Wallace; and brothers, Frank and Bobby.

She is survived by her son, Allen G. Wallace and wife Leia of Hurst, Texas; grandsons, Bobby Wallace and wife, Codie, Steven Wallace and Richard Wallace; great grandson, Keith Wallace; sister, Mary Dick of North Richland Hills and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral Service will also be at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 with committal service and interment to begin at 1:15 P.M. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
