Judy Jan Hobart, 80, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Survivors: daughters, Kelly McIntosh of Pleasanton, CA., and Mindy Fiorello and husband Ron of Colleyville, TX; brother, Jerry Kelley of Kingsland, TX; grandchildren, Nicole McIntosh, Andrew Fiorello, Jacob McIntosh and Sara Beth Beall and husband Stephen.
Judy was born April 18, 1942 in Fort Worth, where she was raised and then graduated from North Side High School in 1960. She married her high school sweetheart, Carl Hobart (passed away in 2004), on September 2, 1961. They raised their two beautiful daughters in the Mid-Cities area. She was a loving stay-at-home mom for many years and loved participating in all her daughters activities. When her children went to college, Judy enrolled in Court Reporting College and became a successful court reporter for almost 30 years. She was active in the National Court Reporters Association and held various offices, including serving as the President of the NCRA. Judy enjoyed reading, tennis, playing bridge, and was a talented pianist. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially in her RV, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 21, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas.
