After a two-year long battle with leukemia, bone marrow transplant and recovery, and COVID-19, Julia Michele Rivera of Fort Worth, Texas passed away into the loving presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus, Christ, on Wednesday, 19 January 2022. She will always be remembered as a strong, godly, loving, kind, and devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend to all that knew her. Julia was born on 7 December 1977 in Austin, Texas. She married Sean Kennedy Rivera on 23 August 1996 and found her greatest joy and value in being a godly wife, homemaker, and mother to seven beautiful children. Julia is survived by her parents, John and Adrienne Cantwell of Coppell, Texas; her sisters, Sarah, Sheena, and Kaeli; her brothers Wayne and John; her husband, Sean; and her seven beautiful children, Aislinn (19), Brennan (16), Liana (13), Adin (12); Kenan (10), Kindrea (8), and Ailene (6).
A visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Wednesday, 26 January 2022, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, 27 January 2022, at First Baptist Church of Keller in Keller, Texas. A Graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, 4 February 2022, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
