Julie Ann Macune

Julie Ann Macune was born to the late C.W. and June Macune on June 28, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas where she lived until her death on November 10, 2019. Julie had two older brothers, Charles, who preceded her in death and Ray who lives in Caldwell, Texas. She also had an older sister, Betty who lives in Abilene, Texas.
Julie graduated from TCU in 1975. Most of her professional career was spent with General Dynamics.
Julie enjoyed music and chorale singing. She regularly participated in the church choir. She was an avid reader but also enjoyed spending time with close friends. Julie was a staunch Dallas Cowboy fan. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, a passion she acquired from her mother. Anyone who knew Julie very well knew of her love for cats.
Having lived in the Fort Worth area throughout her life, Julie would always seek out a church to be a part of. City Point United Methodist Church being the last of those, At City Point, Julie found a warm caring community of followers of Jesus. She also attended Bible Study Fellowship for years which played a key role in her spiritual journey.
A memorial service will be held at City Point United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 pm.
