June Winifred Kempka

June Winifred Kempka, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was born on Monday, December 17, 1934 in Brazeau, Wisconsin to John Bieber and Augusta Pillath. June participated in the Garden Club, Rantoul Illinois, member of Alliance Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Marinette High School in Wisconsin. She really enjoyed tennis, traveling, abroad and sewing. June managed the Publications Office at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.

June is survived by David (Rachel) Kempka of Malone, Wisconsin; Steven (Linda) Kempka of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Mandy (Todd) Bowers of Plainfield, Illinois; Mitchell Kempka of Brookfield, Illinois; Laura (Payne) Wald of Fort Worth, Texas; Samantha (Kyle) Heuerman of Fort Worth, Texas; Great grandchildren, Lorelei Bowers, Jacob Bowers, John Parker Wild.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Bieber; sister, Grace Carlson; sister, Irene Giese; husband Norman Kempka.
