JW McDonald passed away Monday, January 29, 2018.
Graveside: 3 p.m. Thursday at Bourland Cemetery, Keller.Visitation: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to services at Lucas Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests a contribution be made to Autism Speaks, 888-288-4762.
JW McDonald was born September 9, 1925 in Fort Worth where he was born and raised. He moved to Keller in 1964 where he spent the rest of his life. JW was a member of the Army Air Corp. during WWII. He was a retiree of Swift and Co and Bunge Foods where he was a mechanical engineer. JW loved watching sports on tv and playing golf.
JW was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Katie Irene Cartmell McDonald.
Wife, Judy McDonald; children, Linda Morrow (Charlie), David McDonald, Kevin McDonald (Nancy), and Susan McDonald; step-children, Nathan and Jay Reinsager, and Elizabeth Pettis (Tim); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
