Kalyn Cale Sugg

It is with great sadness to announce a beloved Father, Son, Brother, Grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and true friend, Kalyn Cale Sugg went to be with his heavenly father at the age of 36, on October 27th, 2024. He was born in Arlington Texas, on June 9th, 1988 to Donnie and Laura Sugg. Kalyn grew up in Burleson, Texas, where he later graduated from Crossroads High School. After high school, Kalyn served in the Army National Guard. Once returning home, he went to study and would later graduate from ATI (trade school), to become a Field Service Mechanic for Holman. His service to the Railroad and 10+ years with his company show his true dedication to those around him and within his industry.

Kalyn (BoBo Reeves) in his early life enjoyed baseball, calf roping, and racing cars with the boys. When he wasn’t getting in fun trouble, he participated in air guitar battles, nights by the pool, and numerous scooter rides downtown. As life went on, Kalyn found his love for many things including golfing with his friends and family, fishing, hunting, shooting guns, cooking out, betting on sports, and watching NFL and MLB games. However, what Kalyn enjoyed most was being a father to his two children Audrina and Cooper Sugg. His irresistible commitment to both of them, is something that will forever be instilled and remembered by each of us. When we all think of Kalyn, we should remember the good memories. The ones that made us fall on the floor in laughter, the ones that made us love him more than the day before, and the ones that made lasting imprints on each one of our hearts. Kalyn would always say “I don’t hit them far, but at least I hit them straight.” So, remember, life doesn’t always take us far, but the life Kalyn led was an admirable one.

Kalyn leaves behind his parents Donnie and Laura Sugg, children Cooper and Audrina Sugg, Brother Brad Sugg, Sisters Presley and Rylee Sugg, Sister-in-law Marissa Sugg, and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nephews.

Kalyn is preceded in death by sister Cheree Floyd, grandparents Vernon and Daphine Mickelson, and Wesley and Bonnie Sugg.

 A visitation will be held November 7th from 6-8pm at Lucas Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held at Lucas Funeral Home on November 8th at 2pm; Both located at 518 S.W. Johnson Ave. - Burleson, TX 76028
