Kareem Rasheed Gibbs

Kareem Rasheed Gibbs died Saturday, November 22nd, at age 19, after a seven-year fight with a rare childhood cancer. Diagnosed just before his twelfth birthday, Kareem maintained an indomitable spirit while enduring chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and pain. Like many others his age, Kareem enjoyed music, video games, computers, and sports. Most of all, he enjoyed the company of his friends and family. Best known for his warm and friendly smile, Kareem had a generous spirit and sense of humor that made him an inspiration to many. He is survived by his mother, Rakiya Muhammad, his siblings, and a never ending array of friends and family who love and miss him dearly.

Visitation: 6-9p Tuesday, November 25 at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller.
