Karen Jean Blackburn

Karen Jean Blackburn passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Bedford, Texas.
She was born on August 13, 1948 in Jamestown, New York to Marjorie Coy and Paul Franklin. Karen met and married David Lockwood and spent 22 years lovingly raising a family and caring for her home until his passing. She then met and married Lafayette Blackburn and the couple shared 25 years together. Karen was a longtime resident of Tarrant County, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Karen is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Halstead and her parents.
Karen has left her memory to be cherished by her children, Robert Lockwood, Debrah McCullum and husband Gregory, Brandie Lewis, Laura Lookwood and partner Greg Cole; grandchildren, Tahaun, Mercedes, Crystal, Lameeka, Matthew, Robert, Clayton, Andrei, Gregory, Jeremy, Travis, Alicia; nineteen great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Schumacher and Marsha McClelland; many extended family and dear friends.
