Karen Sue Branch

We are sad to announce that our daughter and sister, Karen Sue Branch, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the age of 61. Karen was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 25, 1959. Karen was an Instructional Associate in the Chemistry Department at Tarrant County College-Northeast Campus.

Karen was a 1978 graduate of Richland High School. She received two Associate Degrees from Tarrant County Jr. College. She continued her education at the University of Texas at Dallas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physics degree in May 1990. Karen was an avid reader and loved being a student. Her main bucket list item was to take a trip to the Holy Land. She completed that trip with our cousin Leah McEachern in June 2014. Karen was in several Bible study groups which she greatly loved.

Karen was predeceased by her Dad, Billy A. Branch, and her grandparents, Charles and Robbie Branch, and James and Cordia Parkman, as well as other aunts, uncles, and other extended family.

Karen is survived by her Mother, Margie Parkman Branch, and sister, Sondra Branch-Young and her husband David. Karen is also survived by an uncle, Jimmy Branch of the Dallas area, as well as many cousins and extended family.
