Karen Dawson

Karen Dawson, 79 of Ft Worth, TX died on Feb 12, 2022 at her home. She was born in Harrisburg, PA to William & Marjorie Swan. She is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl Rebosio of Ft Worth, TX and Heather Kofalk of Margate, FL as well as 5 grandchildren; Anthony, Eric, Lauren, Matthew & Ashley. Her husband, Robert Dawson preceded her in death in February 2011.

Karen graduated with a nursing degree from UCF in Orlando, FL. She worked as a nurse at Florida State Hospital for 30 years. She raised her two daughters in South Florida and returned to school to obtain a Masters Degree in nursing. She enjoyed family, traveling & cooking. In 2016 she moved to Ft Worth, TX where she then was blessed with two great grandchildren, Nicolas and Kira. They have added to the love and joy she had for her family.

The Funeral Services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home 1601 S. Main Street Keller, TX 76248. Visitation between 5 pm & 7 pm on Thursday, Feb 17, 2022 with Memorial Service to follow immediately at 7 pm.
