Katelyn Ann Cox, of Fort Worth, passed away on March 26th, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was born on August 26th, 1998, in Decatur, Texas to Christopher and Veronica Cox. Katelyn was a bright caring, and loving soul. Her passions were God, baking, her family, her friends, painting, and her new-found love of travel. Katelyn graduated from Saginaw High School in 2016 and attended TWU. She is survived by her Mother Veronica Cox of Fort Worth, Texas, Brother Logan Cox of Fort Worth, Texas, Father Christopher Cox of Bowie, Texas, Grandparents Hollis and Sue Swafford of Dallas, Texas, and Patricia Posey of Bowie, Texas, Uncle and Aunt Don and Lisa Herring in Edmond, Oklahoma, God-Parents Scott and Lara Wedel in Fort Worth, Texas, and God-Sisters Heather, Ashely, and Hannah Wedel in Fort Worth, Texas, and many cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by Grandfather Art Rhode, Uncle Don Rhode, and Aunt Wyn Murdock. The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on March 30th at Alliance Community Fellowship (2185 Golden Heights Road, Fort Worth, Tx, 76177). Flowers may be sent to Alliance Community Fellowship. Please have flowers delivered at 2:00pm day of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the go fund me page for Funeral Costs and Expenses for Katelyn Cox.
