Kathleen Barley

Kathleen was born in Oakland California to Robert and Athena Lagow. After WWII they
returned to Robert's native Texas and Fort Worth where they had many extended familymembers.

Kathy graduated from Fort Worth Polytechnic High School in 1958 and attended
Arlington State College where she graduated with a Business Degree in 1962. Kathy
was a Tax Accountant for TXI for over 30 years and was often relied upon by family and
friends for tax advice. She had her Daughter Karleen with her former spouse Milton
Barley in 1968. She dedicated a great amount of time and energy to raising her
daughter. She enjoyed playing in city Softball and Soccer leagues and was in a Bunnco
group for many years.

Kathy retired early and spent much of her time selling antiques with her sister Lois who
she was very close to. Her sister Lois passed away in 2020 but Kathy remained close to
her Nieces and Nephews who looked out for her. Kathleen is survived by her daughter
Karleen Bischer, son in law Carmen and Grandsons, Cole , Roman and Enzo Bischer,
as well as the children of her sister Lois - Katy Hurst, Robert Blume, Chris Blume, Karen
Thieme, Jennifer Blume and Matthew Blume.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Kathleen may be made to St. Elizabeth Anne
Seton Catholic School and Church in Keller, TX where her Grandson Enzo Bischer
attends School.
