Kathleen Mary Newsome, a beloved resident of Fort Worth, Texas, gracefully departed from this world on August 15, 2023 in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 73. Born on June 16, 1950 in Waco, Texas.
Left to cherish the memories of Kate is her husband, Ernest Lynn Newsome. Kate's love extended to her children, Jami Rebecca Hahn (Newsome) and husband Dennis of Grandview, TX and Thaddeus W. Newsome of Lubbock, TX. She also adored her grandchildren, Zachary Hahn, Emily Hahn, Landri Newsome, Kenna Newsome, and Nolan Newsome.
Kate leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, David and Michelle Gerschagen, as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Ben Bennett, Kathleen and Jack Morris, and her brother-in-law, J.D. Newsome.
As she embarks on her final journey, Kate joins her father, Don Nesbitt, her mother, Billie Beauchamp, her brother, Paul Frank Gerschagen, and her beloved grandmother, Lucille Stangle, whom she fondly referred to as "Nonnie," in eternal rest.
To honor and celebrate the life lived by Kathleen Mary Newsome, a viewing will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home in Burleson, TX. It is here that loved ones will gather to reflect on cherished memories, embracing the presence she once graced upon this world.
The final farewell will take place with a graveside service on Monday, August 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Burleson Memorial Cemetery. As we bid our heartfelt goodbyes, let us be consoled by the knowledge that Kate's love and spirit will forever resonate within us, guiding and inspiring our lives.
